For over 179 years, the Universalist Unitarian Church has been a part of the spiritual life of Joliet, providing a religious home for people who believe that the best way to find truth is to keep an open mind.  Unitarian Universalism is one of the oldest religions of our nation, shared by many of our forefathers, which providing a safe haven to those who are searching for their true and personal   spiritual path.

Today, we continue to tirelessly represent a common denominator, uniting many religions and philosophies as one. We come from many walks of life, where age, gender, sexual identity and orientation, political outlooks, religions, cultures, and economic background take on a secondary role as we pursue our spiritual journey together.

It is our philosophy and our duty to support and encourage one another true path, giving each other a fertile ground from where to grow.
